I was born and raised in Texas. I grew up here and I practice law here. My journey began in the Summer of 2000 when I started working for my father’s law firm answering the phones. As I progressed, I assumed additional responsibilities and by the Fall of 2003, I was managing the day-to-day activities of the law firm. It was around this time I decided to become a lawyer, a thought I had heretofore shunned.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 2006 and began law school at the St. Mary’s University School of Law. Graduation was to be in the Spring of 2009, but I expedited my school, and completed my studies in December, 2008 a semester early. During the next 2 1/2 months, I prepared for and passed the Texas Bar Exam and received my license to practice law on May 1, 2009.
Immediately, I began practicing as an associate for my father’s law firm and assisted clients in criminal defense, family law, and personal injury matters. I continued honing my craft for the next 4 years when an opportunity to work for a prestigious San Antonio personal injury law firm arose in 2013. For the next year, I worked for one of the best personal injury lawyers in Texas – if not the country.
On March 1, 2014, I made the decision to strike out on my own and focus my practice on three areas: personal injury, family law and criminal defense. Assisting clients in these areas is my passion and drives me to be the best lawyer I can be. If you need a lawyer, I want to be your first choice.
